We have received the following notice from our Mission IT office:
all systems will be shut down by 4:30PM on Saturday April 21, 2012. Campus network services will be back to normal as soon as the power condition warrants on Sunday April 22, 2012.
Although lamission.edu will be "down", moodle will NOT be down. That is because the website http://moodle.lamission.edu is hosted off site from our campus, and so a shut down in services at Mission does not affect moodle. It will still be up and running 24/7/365.
However, many students access moodle by first going to lamission.edu, and thus it will appear to those students that moodle is not working. Therefore make sure that you login directly to moodle at http://moodle. lamission.edu on Saturday and Sunday to avoid this problem.
